Synopsis
Struck by a rare bone cancer, STAN, an ad-man who dreams of writing heroic-fantasy novels, is confined to a hospital bed after an invasive surgery. Crushed by pain and the fear of death, his fragile recovery is shaken when DARIUS, a young gunshot victim supposedly in a coma, is transferred into his room.
At night, Stan discovers that Darius is faking his condition and exerting a growing psychological hold over him, forcing him to confront his fears, his cowardice, and the gap between the heroes he imagines and the man he has become.
